One Less

Several months ago singer/songwriter Mark West posted about his new album and how he wanted it to be about real lives, real stores, real people. He asked that people write in sharing their stories so he could get inspiration. So, I immediately joined several other adoptive families in sending in our story of adoption. This morning as I was checking through some of the blogs I follow, I was pretty surprised to see that Mark West had used the stories he received about adoption and has written a song. The song is titled One Less, and I cannot think of a better title.

How neat is that! I can't wait to hear the entire song and hope that it plants many seeds.

I love this clip. I seen it on another friend's blog, too. Matthew West is such a neat man, and this just makes me respect him even more. Our family had the opportunity to meet him for a back stage event for our local radio station's Event Team Sponsors (we used to be, before we started the adoption process for Khloe) It was one of the last concerts we went to, I believe. He was such a neat, down-to-earth, on-fire-for-God man!! Love that he now has a passion and heart for the orphans... God will use him in BIG ways, I'm sure! <><

i just wanted to say Hello. You responded to our question several weeks ago about adopting out of birth order. Thank you for taking the time. It helped us to make the final decision that we already felt was right! Our new daughter will turn 14 in March and we are well on our way! Thank you again, Kim
