First, THANK YOU ALL for your thoughts, comments and prayers. We have definitely benefited from them. Matt and I are beyond blessed by the amount of people we know are praying we get Kalia home safely.
However, we are NOT out of the woods yet.
The good news is, is that our agency was able to get us a January 4th CA (consulate apt), which means we (my father in law and me) would leave NEXT Friday, the 23rd.
The bad new is, is that we don't quite have all the money we need to be able to leave by then.
When we first started the adoption process back in September, 2010, we had every reason to believe we would travel during the 2011 summer. We soon realized that summer travel was out so we began praying for an early fall travel. Fall came and went and we prayed and prayed to travel before Kalia's 10th birthday. Well, her birthday came and went as well and we are still waiting.
Here we are only 9 days from Christmas and we have been given the best gift of all. Not only did we receive our TA, but our agency was able to book our CA and get us on a plane all before Christmas. Honestly, I cannot think of a better gift than knowing that in less than 10 days I could be meeting my daughter whose picture I have stared at for 18 months.
I should be making travel arrangements now. I should be making arrangements for the other kids. I have a list that goes on and on of things that need to get done. But I can't.
From day one we knew Kalia's adoption was going to be the biggest leap of Faith we have taken, but Matt and I both felt up to the challenge. It has definitely been a challenge. It has been a true testimony of our faith, our perseverance and our trust in God.
So, I am asking you all to please spread the word about our fundraiser. I know right now is tough on many people with Christmas and everything. Please pray that we are able to get the funds we need to book out flights, as well as everything else.

I have reposted to my Facebook page and will put it on my blog. Most importantly I am PRAYING!! Have faith, we will get her home:):)
First...you all will definitely be in my prayers. Have faith...everything will work out!
Second...love the name! My 4 year old (adopted in 2009) is named Kalia. Haven't heard too many with that name. It's so pretty (as is your daughter)
Praying that God brings the funds and you are absolutely surprised that God does!!!
