T - 18 Hours

After 14 hours of plane rides, one overnight hotel stay and a 2 hour train ride, we are finally in Jinan. We just got checked into our hotel and are both exhausted.

As tired as I am I don't think I will sleep much tonight because in about 18 hours, I will finally be face to face with Kalia. She will be brought directly to our room so I am excited about that.

This has been one heck of a ride and we are finally slowing down. Notice I didn't say exiting yet. Remember the whole POA post the other day? Well, Matt took it to Chicago to be authenticated and had to leave it. It was supposed to be overnighted and in his hands Friday, but it never made it. So, we are hoping and praying that it arrives Saturday. Without the POA I cannot "technically" take posession of Kalia. However, once he gets it, he is going to scan and e-mail it to me so they at least know it is on its way. I have been told that this WILL NOT be a problem.

So, please continue to pray that all goes well and Matt is able to get the POA to me ASAP.

Also, I am not sure I am going to be able to post pictures because dummy me forgot the usb cord for my camera. I do have my phone, so worst cast scenario I can post pics that way. It's better than nothing, right?

So, the next time I post, we will officially be a family of 9! WOW, I can't even believe it!

Not sure where you are staying in jinan but if it is the jihua (hihhua) hotel there is an awesome bakery outside the hotel turn left and left, if you take another left past the bakery you will find the most incredible open market! Can't wait for your meeting!
