All I Want for Christmas

I can't get this song out of my head. I've been playing it over and over in my head for about two days. I can't help thinking about the millions of children all over the world who are without a family, especially this time of year.

I found this music video and now I really can't get this song out of my head. It literally breaks my heart thinking about all the kids without families. Children all over the world who have no idea what it is like to have a family. Children who have no idea what it feels like to be kissed on the cheek. Children who have never heard the words "I love you." Children who who don't know the warmth of being tucked in at night. Children who have never known the love and happiness of a "real" family.

Christmas is such a magical time for so many reasons. The sights and sounds and smell put smiles on faces all over the world.

So, you all know from my post yesterday what my Christmas wish is. I want nothing more than to get on a plane to bring Kalia home. I want nothing more than to wrap my arms around her and hug her tight. I want nothing more than to whisper "I love you" in her ear. I want nothing more than to know that she and I are together forever.

But, I also want that for so many other families and other children. There are a ton of families fundraising right now to bring their children home. There are tons of families that are just as close as we are if not closer to traveling. The only thing standing in many of their ways is money.

So, since it is the season of giving, I am asking my readers to give a little something. It doesn't have to be alot, every little bit adds us and in the end, it all helps. I am not asking that you specifically help us out either. Like I said, there are tons of families tyring to grow their families who need help. Hop on over to one of their blogs and help them. My wish is obviously to get Kalia home, but it goes beyond that. I would love it just as much knowing that other families are one step closer to being united with their children.

So, instead of driving through Starbucks today ( I know it's cold) to get one of these

Or instead of using the easy way out for dinner with this

or this (although this is one yummy lookin pizza)

Give a little Christmas cheer. Donate that money that you would have spent to help a family bring their child home. Donate that money to help a child have the chance at a family that they so deserve.

$4.00 for a cup of coffee may not seem like alot to you, but it is everything to a child without a family.

Yes! So many children are without homes and so many families are so close to traveling, but do not have enough money.

I love this post! It's sooo true. There are so many unnecessary and frivolous things we can give up and don't need. We can all help more! I just posted on fb about Kalia and added a link to your blog. Praying you will get to travel soon! God will provide!
